Holistic Horse Training Services



NOTE: Dr. Fenton is unabe to provide daily training services for new clients at this time due to demand and scheduling. She is only availabe for consultations and instructionals for new clients on how to manage their own horse's problem behavior(s) or performance related issues. Consultations are $150/hour and provide evaluation of horse, environment, presenting issue, current training methods, prognosis and holistic training/medical recommendations. Follow up consultations are $150/hour . 

Consultations are available for the following scenarios:         

             Colt/Filly Starting & Foundation Training
 
            

·         Imprinting to weanlings to 2 year olds  

·         Halter breaking to accepting a rider  

                ·         Safe, gentle, effective—results                    

·         Foundation established for any discipline



    Rescue/BLM Horse Starting


     ·         Desensitization of environmental stimuli        

     ·         Acceptance towards people        

     ·        Forming the connection between horse and human 

·    Releasing fright and resistance  

·    Creating a space of respect, trust and partnership with common ground 
   



        Problem Behavior Modification & Redirection

·         Trailering, clipping, tying, blanketing         

·         Biting, striking, kicking, rearing, balking        

·         Head shyness, bit refusal, spooking, bolting, pulling back...      

·  Smooth gait transitions, proper leads at the canter, flying changes etc.

·        Ground manners; not standing when mounted and more…  



    Performance Horse Conditioning & Maintenance

            Dressage               
           Hunter/Jumper              
           Equitation             
           Endurance             
         Cow horse            

·         Maintain agility, muscle tone, balance and fitness 

 ·        Minimize injury with conditioning in between show seasons
(Chiropractic care & massage therapy highly recommended for performance horses.)



   Pleasure Horse Exercising & Maintenance (Not available at this time)


·         Weekly exercising regimen for overall health and fitness   

·    Maintenance of previously established training
       
 ·      Trail riding   

 ·         Ranch horse
