Welcome to Vital Equine Holistic Veterinary Medicine!
Dr. Fenton's goal is to heal the horse's body, mind and soul as safely, thoroughly and effectively as possible. She comes well-equipped with a veterinary medical degree, accreditation by the USDA for import and export of all species, five veterinary medical certifications, two certifications in alternative therapies for humans, formal training in eight different courses of study within veterinary and human medicine that go beyond current industry standards and is a certified Applied Clinical Nutritionist (ACN) for humans. This exquisitely diverse, human-and-animal medical background provides her the ability to pinpoint and treat the "root" of each individual patient's condition more effectively than a traditional veterinary medical education alone could offer.
Dr. Fenton's passion and goal is to uncover the true reasons for the patient's problems and appropriately address them, rather than detrimentally masking dis-ease via drugs and surgery without knowing the underlying cause -- the way modern medicine often does today. By uniquely blending the best of traditional, holistic and ancient forms of veterinary and human medicine, a greater approach and overall outcome is typically achieved!
In addition, Dr. Fenton thoroughly enjoys treating horse owners, trainers and riders for pain, riding injuries, improved performance, stamina, fatigue, emotional wellness or other nutrition-related issues!
