Veterinary Phone Consultations
At Vital Equine, current clients may schedule telephone consultations for a fee. All consultations require an established veterinary-client-patient-relationship and are limited to ongoing management or care of conditions already under treatment; new conditions cannot be addressed via phone. These consultations provide guidance on management, supportive care, or integrative options for horses and conditions that have already been seen by Vital Equine with an in-person physical exam. Phone consultations are available as an alternative to in-person appointments when appropriate, allowing discussion of your horse’s care, review of records, lab work, imaging, or other diagnostics, and guidance on next steps. These services are supplemental to in-person veterinary care and are not intended to replace a physical examination or hands-on assessment when such care is necessary to ensure proper evaluation and treatment.
