Equine Healy MicroCurrent Frequency Therapy

At Vital Equine, we offer Healy Microcurrent Frequency Therapy as an adjunctive modality to support the bioenergetic balance and tissue function of horses. This system delivers very low-level electrical currents (microcurrents) combined with specific frequency programs, referred to as Individualized Microcurrent Frequencies (IMF), to support normal cellular function and energetic balance.

In laboratory studies, microcurrent application has been associated with:
  •  increased cellular energy (ATP)
  •  protein synthesis
  •  nutrient transport in cells

Benefits include but are not limited to:
  • reduction of pain and inflammation
  • FDA Approved for local relief of acute, chronic, and arthritis pain and muscle soreness due to overexertion
  • supports cellular health and cellular healing

Healy’s Animal Module offers frequency programs designed to support general comfort, vitality, and tissue responsiveness at the cellular level, based on Healy’s published protocols. Use and selection of programs is guided entirely by veterinary evaluation, including a physical exam and standard of care, before any complementary modalities such as Healy are employed. This ensures that therapy is applied only when appropriate and in a manner tailored to the individual horse’s presentation.

Equine Healy Microcurrent therapy and Equine Biohacking on a mini donkey
This mini donkey is wearing a healy device on her front left lower limb. A healy program was used to help biohack disharmony and support her emotional and spiritual state. She had exhibited disengagement and lack of wanting connection with humans. After her treatment, she was observed to be more responsive, easier to catch, alert and more trusting of human connection on her own free will. These observations reflect relief of pain and discomfort— exactly what the healy is intended to support.

Important Note & Disclaimer:
  • Healy Microcurrent Frequency Therapy is provided as a complementary modality to conventional veterinary care.
  • It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any specific disease or medical condition.
  • Outcomes vary by individual horse. Use of this therapy does not replace standard veterinary assessment or treatment.
  • The scientific basis of this approach is grounded in decades of electrotherapy research, including studies on the role of bioelectric potentials in cellular processes. See extensive references listed below.
